Praveena Joseph de Saram

Praveena is a scientist and entrepreneur focused on furthering learning and employment opportunities for marginalized groups. Praveena has served as the Managing Director of the RCCI since 2019. Prior to joining the RCCI as its Managing Director, Praveena was a scientist at the Princeton Neuroscience Institute conducting research sponsored by Allergan plc, a global pharmaceutical company. In addition to serving on the board of the Shiranee Joseph de Saram Foundation, Praveena is a trustee of the Princeton-Blairstown Center, an over 100 year old charity that serves vulnerable youth in the states of New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania and the CEO of Poopooh LLC, a triple bottom line start-up based in Princeton New JerseyPraveena’s past experience also includes time as a management consultant with Kearny and as the Chief Operating Officer of Optimal Acuity Corporation. She holds a masters degree in Physics from the University of Oxford and another in Molecular Biology and Neuroscience from Princeton University. She divides her time between Colombo, Sri Lanka and Princeton, New Jersey.

Stacy Parrado

Stacy is Co-owner of Parrado Financial Consulting, LLC. She specializes in small business bookkeeping, financial management, analysis and strategic financial planning for start up companies. She spent the early part of her career working in the public accounting sector, before moving into higher education, starting out as an Investment Accountant at Rider University and then ultimately becoming the Assistant Dean for Administration for their College of Business. In addition to her roles at Rider, Stacy also taught as an Adjunct Professor for the University focusing on introductory business and service learning courses. Prior to starting Parrado Financial Consulting, LLC, she spent a little over two years as a Fund Accounting Manager for The VMS Group, where her focus was managing the accounting and reporting needs for numerous Venture Capital Funds. She resides in Hamilton, NJ with her husband and daughter. Stacy is excited to be supporting SJDSF and giving back where she is able.

Annapoorni Subramanian

Anna is the Financial and Operations Planning Manager at BioSuite. She specializes in financial analysis, budgeting and operations in the Oil and Gas and Pharmaceuticals sectors. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Madras and a Master degree in Financial Accounting and Finance from Rutgers University. She resides in Houston, Texas with her husband and two daughters.
